R. Leslie Nichols, CPP, President of R. L. Nichols & Associates, has spent the past 25 years, helping youth serving organizations protect children and teens under their care. His unique approach incorporates strategic and innovative thinking to address the wide range of the safety and security issues that affect schools, churches, camps and every out-of-school time program. This includes issues such as sex abuse, bullying, kidnapping, armed violence, drowning, vehicular injuries and other injuries and fatalities.
Les has lectured and taught across the U.S. and overseas. He has published numerous articles, participated frequently in interviews and co-authored, along with Michael Dorn and Phuong Nguen, the upcoming book, Extreme Violence: Understanding and Protecting People from Active Assailants, Hate Crimes and Terrorist Attacks.
